Tip Thai is our favourite Thai place to eat… well at least here. So far Thai Valley Grill in Edmonton is still THE best Thai we’ve ever had. But back to Poco…
Its got a ton of great flavour in the dishes, and they understand what spicy means. They have a really good sum tom thai salad (their version anyways) and excellent soups. Tonight, hubby and I each had one of the excellent Tom Kha soups (coconut milk soup). Chicken for him, seafood for me (filled with chunks of fish, squid, and shrimp). Followed by a medium spicy fried rice and my all time favourite dish there, basa choo chee. Which is a basa fillet, very lightly battered and fried, with an amazing yellow and red curry magic tasty sauce. Seriously, spoon that on a rock and I’d eat an aquarium’s worth of gravel.
