Just a variety of dressings I’ve made. I think the no egg caesar dressing is my favourite though. The sesame dressing is also quite nice. 🙂

GINGER SESAME DRESSING

3 tsp miso paste1/2 tsp lemongrass paste
2 tsp ginger paste
2 tsp minced garlic
1 1/2 c water or veggie stock
1/4 – 1/2 c rice wine vinegar (depending on taste)
1 packet Splenda
2 tbsp soya sauce
2 tsp sesame oil

NO EGG CAESAR DRESSING

3 cloves minced garlic
3/4 cup mayonnaise
5 anchovy fillets, minced
3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dijon mustard
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
S&P to taste
Drizzle of oil from the anchovy tin

ANCHOVY GARLIC DRESSING

3 cloves garlic, minced
2 anchovy fillets, finely minced
2 tsp Dijon mustard
3 tbsp chicken stock
4 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
S&P to taste

In small bowl, using a fork, mash together garlic, anchovy, and mustard. Whisk in chicken stock, oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Pour over romaine salad and toss to coat.

COLESLAW DRESSING

1/2 c mayo
1/2 c sour cream
3 tbs vinegar
2 tbs splenda
1 tsp celery seeds
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp garlic (minced or paste)
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1 tbs fresh dill
1 heaping tbs horseradish
1 pickle diced
1 tsp pickle juice

VINEGAR BASED COLESLAW DRESSING

1/4 c. hot water
2/4 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c white vinegar
1/3 c. oil
not quite 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp mustard seeds, ground in mortar & pestal
2 tsp dijon mustard
1/2 tsp cumin
3/4 tsp dried dill
1/2 tsp onion powder
squirt of lemon juice
few dashes of worcestershire sauce
2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp. celery seeds
salt and pepper to taste

Mix hot water and sugar, stir until dissolved.
Mix other ingredients in gravy shaker (or tuperware with secure lid) and shake until mixed
Add sugar mix and mix again

Best tossed with cabbage when cold. Shake well before pouring.
