We don’t get out to White Rock very often. This beautiful coast side town is just a little out of the way and when we go across the border, we rarely take the crossing that is right beside it. Today we had to actually go to White Rock to meet up with someone and took the opportunity to eat at one of the best szechuan restaurants in the area. We’ve only been to Don Asian a few times, but it was excellent everytime. Probably because we get the same killer dishes almost every time.
Our favourites are the chili chicken that is drowned in red chili’s and some of the best crispy duck we’ve ever had. One day we’ll have to try some different dishes, but don’t like wasting an opportunity to have them.
The chili chicken is very spicy. Not only is it cooked with more chilis than should ever see each other, but the oil absorbs that heat and distributes it all over the chicken pieces. But definitely tasty and worth the heat zing.
