There isn’t much to do with chive blossoms, sprinkling on salads or devilled eggs, but if you want to use up a bunch of them chive flower vinegar is a great option! Use the vinegar in homemade vinaigrettes!

Chive Flower Vinegar
Ingredients
- White wine vinegar
- Chive blossoms
Instructions
- Place the chive blossoms in a bowl of cold water. Gently swish to remove any dirt.
- Drain the flowers thoroughly and lay on paper towel to dry overnight.
- Place the blossoms in a jar.
- Warm the vinegar and pour over the blossoms in the jar. Cool completely before covering and store in a cool, dry place for two weeks.
- Strain the vinegar through cheesecloth into a clean jar.
