palmer park swizzle

We picked up a bottle of bourbon the other day and I wanted to try something from our usual mix and went in search of bourbon cocktails. When I saw the Palmer Park Swizzle cocktail, I was intrigued. Super easy to make and low-carb customizable, it seemed like a great refreshing summer drink.

And it was, it is like a bourbon sour, but I think the small step of steeping the teabag in the bourbon adds a wonderful touch.

Palmer Park Swizzle Cocktail
  1. 1 cup bourbon
  2. 1 black tea bag
  3. 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  4. Stevia liquid
  5. 8 mint leaves
  6. 1 mint sprig, for garnish
  1. Steep the teabag in the cup of bourbon for an hour.
  2. Fill a shaker with ice and add the lime juice, a squirt of the liquid Stevia, mint leaves and 2 ounces of the tea-infused bourbon; shake well.
  3. Strain into an ice-filled collins glass and garnish with the mint sprig; serve immediately.
