I made some stuffed salmon the other day and realized I hadn’t posted my tartar sauce recipe. Usually, it’s thrown together quickly, and I don’t give it much thought. But thought I should post it so the next time I want tartar sauce, I’d have the recipe handy.
For the relish, I used my homemade tangy green relish.

Tartar Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup mayo
- 1 tablespoon tangy green relish
- 2 teaspoons capers chopped
- 1/2 cup pickles chopped small
- 1 tablespoon pickle juice
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon dill
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and set in the fridge until needed.
