Peel then cut the apples into quarters, core them, and slice into 1/4 inch thick slices.
Add the remaining filling ingredients, tossing to mix.
At this point I like to drizzle with a couple tablespoons of caramel sauce and lightly toss. Not a necessary step, just adds flavor.
Pour into a PAM sprayed 8x8" pan.
Combine the topping ingredients and mix until you have a crumbled texture.
Spread over the apples.
Bake at 350°F for 35-40 minutes until the top has browned.
Let cool a bit before serving.
