Please note I did not say low calorie. Whipping cream and coconut cream and butter definitely add some calories, but at least it was low carb.\u00a0I saw this recipe on <a title=\"A Spicy Perspective\" href=\"http:\/\/www.aspicyperspective.com\/2013\/06\/coconut-cream-pie-coconut-cream-recipes.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">A Spicy Perspective<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, not sure how I ended up there, but glad I did!<\/p>\n<p>For the crust, I used my <a title=\"PIE AND SQUARE CRUSTS\" href=\"https:\/\/cookingislikelove.com\/wp\/?p=275\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #008080;\">toasted coconut and almond crust<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, if using, make Use the bottom of a measuring cup to flatten and get to the sides.
