DInner Rolls


  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 1/4 cups all purpose flower
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons bread machine yeast


  • Layer the ingredients in the order listed into the bread machine and set the machine on dough setting.
  • When the cycle is completed, remove the dough and place on a well floured surface, covering with a large bowl. Let rest 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Weigh the dough and divide into 12 portions.
  • Shape into a roll shape and place in a well-greased 9x11 pan.
  • Cover with a clean linen dishtowel and set aside, somewhere warm, for 30 to 45 minutes.
  • Brush the tops with melted 1-2 tablespoons butter.
  • Preheat the oven to 375F and bake for 15 to 20 minutes (until a nice golden brown.)
  • Remove the buns from the pan and place on a rack to cool completely (before breaking apart).
