I didn’t think I’d be posting anything this week, specifically because I’ve come down with the stomach flu. The worst of it is finally over and I’m left with a rumbling gurgling tummy who doesn’t want anything remotely food like. But I am a bit hungry.

We just got home from a small grocery shopping run (mostly so the Hubby could have a proper dinner) and I picked up a piece of ginger. Ginger is good for an upset belly and I happen to love the ginger salad dressing at Japanese restaurants. This little combo ended up being very close in taste, tasted awesome on some plain rice, and all without any stomach upset.

It would taste awesome on a salad, rice, and a big bowl of stir fried veggies, too.
