Tried this recipe tonight, ended up changing it a bit and adding a few more ingredients. Hubby said he quite liked it and I think it will taste better once its had time to set and have the flavours meld a bit more. Not quite that ginger dressing you get at a good sushi restaurant, but not a bad ginger dressing.

Ginger Salad Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • Couple dashes of sesame oil
  • 1/3 cup rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 4 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1-2 packs of stevia or splenda
  • 1-2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon white miso paste

Instructions

  • Whisk together in blender. Let set or chill before serving.

Notes

Note: the original recipe asked for ketchup. which frankly sounded weird... so I didn't add any.
Note 2: the salt and the lemon juice I did to taste
